Dr. Shainima Islam is an Honorary Adjunct Faculty Member at Maryam Abacha American International University of Nigeria and an emerging scholar specializing in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, and leadership in virtual and crisis contexts. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Management from Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED), Indonesia. Her research interests include green HRM, diversity and inclusion among Generation Z, social identity in virtual teams, and youth entrepreneurship in conflict-affected regions. She has published in peer-reviewed outlets, contributed to international conferences, and is currently editing the volume Social Identity in a Disrupted World. In addition, she actively engages in community development initiatives, focusing on youth empowerment and women’s entrepreneurship, reflecting her commitment to linking academic research with real-world impact.
