Dr. Ruoxin Zhang is a Lecturer at the Department of Epidemiology, School of Public Health, Fudan University. She earned her Ph.D. from Queen Mary University of London. She is dedicated to research in cancer molecular epidemiology, focusing on the identification of biomarkers and the carcinogenic mechanisms of lung cancer and gastrointestinal cancers. She has served as principal investigator for one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project and three provincial or ministerial-level projects, and participated in two additional provincial or ministerial-level projects. Dr. Zhang has published 49 papers in Chinese and English, including 41 SCI-indexed papers, and has contributed to one textbook and two chapters. She is the recipient of the Outstanding Young Talent Award under the Shanghai Public Health System Three-Year Action Plan, and the USCACA Young Investigator Award from the US–China Anti-Cancer Association.
