Prof. Jue Liu, Prof. Hon-Cheong So, Prof. Ritu Choudhary will Be Present At ICPHH2023!

ICPHH2023 will be held in a more convenient online way on August 24, 2023. Prof. Jue Liu, Prof. Hon-Cheong So, Prof. Ritu Choudhary will be present at ICPHH2023!

Dr. Liu Jue is an assistant professor, senior research fellow and doctoral supervisor at the School of Public Health, Institute for Global Health and Development, Peking University, and senior visiting scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is the deputy director of Peking University Health Science Center-Weifang Joint Research Center for Maternal and Child Health. Her research interests are mainly in: (1) Epidemiology of infectious diseases; (2) Prevention, control and management on major infectious diseases; (3) Maternal and child health; (4) Big data research and application in health. She is the founder of the Global Big Data Platform for Major Infectious Disease Prevention, Control, and Management (BIG-MID), and founder director of an international academic network-Global Consortium for Study on Prevention, Control and Management of Major Infectious Diseases (GCSMID), to promote interdisciplinary research and collaboration in this field globally. She acted as Principal Investigator of more than 20 national projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the National Health Commission of China, etc. She has published more than 100 papers as first or corresponding author, including Lancet, BMJ, Bulletin of the World Health Organization, etc.

Prof. Hon-Cheong So received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree together with a PhD degree in 2012 from The University of Hong Kong (HKU). He joined the School of Biomedical Sciences of The Chinese University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor in Jan 2016 and is also currently assistant professor (by courtesy) of the Department of Psychiatry, CUHK. His main research interests include the development and application of novel statistical and computational methodologies to “omics” and clinical data in general.  In particular, he is interested in uncovering the genetic architecture of complex diseases and predicting disease risk and phenotypes based on bioinformatics and clinical data. His work has been published in major journals in the field, including first or corresponding papers in Nature Neuroscience, American Journal of Human Genetics, Plos genetics, Psychological Medicine, Bioinformatics etc.

Prof. Ritu Choudhary received her Master's degree and PhD degree from Kurukshetra University and National Dairy Research Institute in 2011 and 2017 respectively.She is Assistant Professor at Indrashil University now, and in charge of teaching the Cell & Molecular Biology, Recombinant DNA Technology, Animal Cell Culture, Biochemistry, Enzymology, Genetics course.Prof. Ritu Choudhary also made many achievements in research. She took participate in academic conferences many times, and has also published several papers in international journals, and book chapters. She has also received many awards, such as 1st prize in oral presentation competition in GVS2022, Best paper presentation Award in International Conference on Advances in Medical and Industrial Biotechnology (ICAMIB 2019) held at Chennai, India, Young Investigator Award Oral presentation in 3rd Biennial Pai conference and international symposium on Stress, Microbiome and Probiotics, held at Bhubaneswar, India in 2016 and so on.
